Can not use GitConfiguration mentioned in the official documentation for CodePipeline V2 CloudFormation template

Question

I am trying to replicate [this](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/codepipeline/latest/userguide/pipelines-filter-cfn.html) official document as I want to the Git configuration to be set for specific branch.

Cloudformation complains mentioning that this feature is fro CodePipeline V2 but I can not find any information to configure CodePipeline V2 from Cloudformation.

Please help.

The CloudFormation [documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-codepipeline-pipeline.html) to configure triggers and execution modes has been updated. You should now be able to use CloudFormation to create V2 pipelines with trigger filters.

I think you should select "V2" in "PipelineType" of "AWS::CodePipeline::Pipeline".
