Transcribing multiple languages

We are using AWS to transcode video and transcribe the content to provide titles. The majority of our videos start with some Te Reo (NZ Maori language) and then continue in English. The transcribe function seems to work well with English but struggles to understand/transcribe Te Reo. Is there a solution we can employ that would help automate this through AWS?
