AWS email user data limit

0

I'm just trying to check out the AWS email per user data limit - I seem to have seen 50 GB somewhere - is that correct?

It's just one of our users has about 520 MB and doesn't seem to be able to send mail

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with sending mail. The 50GB is the mailbox limit and if you reach 50GB you will be able to send mail.

Other limits that apply to WorkMail can be found here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workmail/latest/adminguide/workmail_limits.html

Can you provide any more details on the observed behavior? Do you receive any bounce messages?

Kind regards,
Robin

Good afternoon Robin

Thank you for that link - it is the one I could not find.

I worked out that the person who couldn't send email was trying to send a message that was too large

Best wishes

Hi Andy,

Good to hear you found the problem. If you think there is anything WorkMail can improve on informing the user when they try to send an email that exceeds the size limit, please let me know and I will forward that feedback to the service team.

Kind regards,
Robin

Good morning

If you want suggestions I think I would like a change to the right click on a message function to include move to a folder?

And something that tells the user about the size of the message they're creating when they had attachments would be useful

Best wishes

Andy
