Link certification email id to the re:post profile

0

Hi, My AWS certification is associated with my personal email id which is different to my current logged AWS re:post account. When I try to add my certification to my re: post profile it is failing. How can I link multiple emails to re:post profile or if I want to change my AWS account can I do it by keeping the my personal email id permanent? What is the best practice to maintain the same re:post account even we change the AWS accounts(often stick to current employer)

Cheers!

I had this problem as well for one of my certs. Even though they all fall under the same certificate account and email on aws.training, one cert I took when that was configured with a different email. What I did that worked was, I temporarily changed my Builder ID email address to match that as the cert. Then I linked the cert and switched my Builder ID to the email for my other two certs. It looks like the other cert is staying attached. Hopefully AWS will allow linking of multiple Cert Emails at some point. But it seems to be a weird Credly bug.

Just adding this here for anybody else who comes across this question when doing a google search (like I did).

https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2023/05/aws-re-post-multiple-email-addresses-profile/

Today, re:Post launched the capability for users to associate multiple email addresses to their re:Post profile .... The ability to add multiple email addresses to a profile on re:Post provides users with a seamless experience when linking Credly certifications to showcase their expertise on AWS technology. re:Post users can now add the email address that’s associated with their Credly account, without updating the primary email address that’s associated with their re:Post profile.
