Lifecycle policy pricing

I want to understand the S3 lifecycle rules pricing. If I transition a 100GB object and transition a 1MB object, Is the price same? Does the cost depend on object size?

No, the 'Lifecycle Transition requests into' pricing on https://aws.amazon.com/s3/pricing/ is per object, regardless of size. However, the time required in a lower-cost storage class to recoup the transition cost is absolutely dependent on size. Lifecycle transition rules can, and should, have a size filter applied to ensure that objects are not transitioned unless there is a cost benefit to doing so. Transitions into all storage classes except Glacier Flexible Retrieval and Glacier Deep Archive have a minimum object size of 128 KB. See https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/object-lifecycle-mgmt.html for more information on lifecycle rules, and https://catalog.workshops.aws/awscff/en-US/playbooks/storage/s3 for a deeper dive on the subject of cost optimization.
