How to use AWS Scheduler in multiple regions

0

I havee deployed the stack for aws instance scheduler in Oregon, to test the functionality... but now I want to deploy it in N. Virginia, and everytime I attempt this the stack gets rolled back because the first one already created IAM roles and other things that it errors out on... so how do I deploy this in another region without these errors?

Hello CV-Saas

When deploying the Instance Scheduler CloudFormation template, you’ll be prompted to specify the region parameter under the Parameter section. Suppose you’ve initially set this up as a proof of concept (PoC) and are considering a broader deployment. In that case, it’s recommended to terminate the PoC instance and configure a production-ready Instance Scheduler. Consider options such as AWS Organizations, multi-account, and multi-region setups for a robust deployment to enhance scalability and manageability.

In the Parameter section of the template, you’ll find an input field for selecting the desired region. However, you just want to deploy the same template in multiple regions, simple update the existing template with additional region selections (by entering the input parameters).

See the parameter section where it shows the region input Enter image description here See the image where I have chosen three regions to deploy. Enter image description here
