Managed Ethereum Blockchain: waiting endlessly while Status = Creating ...

Hi,

The docs said it would take just 60 ninutes. I have been waiting for well over 2 hours and status still says "creating"

Also, I had to delete and reinstall because i thought maybe it developed a memory leak. It was timing out on my request. It worked for a month or so before that.

Any feedback as to whether I should trust AWS managed blockchain or just install and configure my own instance on EC2 would be highly appreciated.

Well, so much for a manged service. My node state is stuck. Token and ETH balances are out of sync with Etherscan. I'm able to send transactions thru it just fine but its state is out of sync with Mainnet.

    This is clearly not normal. Please contact support with your details so they can look into the situation (if you have not done it yet).

Creation can take over two hours depending on the state of AMB fast sync and how big your node is (if you pick a small node (8Gb), it will be slower). If you launch your own node on EC2, synchronization will take days.
