Unable to issue ACM certificate for office.xyz (ADDITIONAL_VERIFICATION_REQUIRED)

Hello ACM team,

I’m requesting a public certificate in us-east-1 for office.xyz. The latest Certificate ARN is arn:aws:acm:us-east-1:677276095427:certificate/a8c53c7d-3abf-49f1-be23-66230c21c38e, but the request immediately fails with ADDITIONAL_VERIFICATION_REQUIRED.

I am the registrant of office.xyz and have already completed the WHOIS contact verification with Dynadot. I also have full access to the domain’s DNS and can modify DNS records or website content as needed. Proof of registration can be provided if required.

Could you please review this request and let me know what additional steps or documentation are needed so the certificate can be issued?

Hello.

If the domain is being misused, the relevant error may occur and the certificate may not be issued.
As stated in the following document, the easiest way to resolve this is to contact AWS Support.

To add your domains to an allow list, contact AWS Support, and include the following information:

  • The AWS Regions that you want to allow access for your domain.
  • The domain name, such as example.com.
  • Any subdomain names, such as acme.example.com.
