I found the answer:
* Here is the [App Runner roadmap](https://github.com/aws/apprunner-roadmap/projects/1) 
* The specific GitLab request is here in this May 2021 issue [GitLab Source Repository Integration #17](https://github.com/aws/apprunner-roadmap/issues/17). The issue is in the "Researching" stage which sadly means they are not even working on it yet.

I see it says "App Runner deploys your source code by reading it from a source code repository. App Runner supports one source code repository provider: GitHub" https://docs.aws.amazon.com/apprunner/latest/dg/service-source-code.html

With respect to App Runner, I was curious if GitLab is on the roadmap of ever getting supported as well. Is it?
