amazon workspaces client : Disable WorkSpaces Running Mode

A customer is using Amazon WorkSpaces with running mode as “Auto Stop”. Using Amazon WorkSpaces client, user can change running mode from “AutoStop” to “AlwaysOn” and vice versa. Is there a way customer can disable this option on Amazon WorkSpaces client tool using policy? They don’t want users to change this.

They can disable running mode changes from the client as part of self-service options on a per directory level. This will apply to all users under the specific directory. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workspaces/latest/adminguide/enable-user-self-service-workspace-management.html
