Using Formality on top of Parallel Data for Amazon Translate

Hello,

I would like to enable the Formality setting for Amazon Translate, in order to ensure a consistent tone of voice (informal) for DE translations, but was told that it cannot be activated on top of Parallel Data. Is there any way to use these two settings in combination? Or to tell the machine in some other way that all machine translations should be informal?
