Assignee of issue don't get email - CodeCatalyst

Question

when I assign someone for issue that assignee don't get email for it. is it intentional? I guess assignee should receive email in that case

Thanks for reaching out. Email notifications on issue assignment are not currently supported in Amazon CodeCatalyst.
