Workspaces SSO with JumpCloud

Has anyone else gotten AWS Workspaces SSO with SAML to work with JumpCloud as the identity provider?

My plan was to work through these directions: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workspaces/latest/adminguide/amazon-workspaces-saml.html.

I just wanted to see if others had been successful. JumpCloud support has been ambiguous as to whether it is possible.

Does this PDF https://d1.awsstatic.com/workspace-saml-guide.pdf still relevant Trying to setup AWS Workspaces using Single AD directory (acting as SP) and JumpCloud (acting as IdP)

The SAML happen successfully; recognize the jumpcloud user "john" but seems to be it doesn't create an user account on Simple AD on AWS Workspaces
