Hi there.
The 0x500ff Shutdown Type: power off
portion of the error message might indicate a problem in the underlying hardware. Please try to stop and then start the EC2 instance so that it is moved to a new hardware. If this doesn't solve the issue there might be some corruption in the OS and you can follow Abhishek's troubleshooting steps.
