Reducing Backup Costs - Amazon FSx for Windows Servers

I am searching for options to reduce backup costs for an Amazon FSx for Windows Server file system. Is there an option to reduce the frequency of backups. Weekly, or even monthly could work. I'll accept other suggestions for achieving cost reduction. File system backups currently consume about 60% of my costs!

Consider using AWS Backup with FSx https://docs.aws.amazon.com/fsx/latest/WindowsGuide/using-backups.html#aws-backup-and-fsx

This can be set to be less-frequent than every day https://docs.aws.amazon.com/aws-backup/latest/devguide/creating-a-backup-plan.html#plan-options-and-configuration

Backup frequency

The backup frequency determines how often AWS Backup creates a snapshot backup. Using the console, you can choose a frequency of every hour, 12 hours, daily, weekly, or monthly.
