Amazon does not specifically throttle traffic for V2Ray or any particular application. However, it's important to understand that all AWS services, including Lightsail, have their own service limits and throttling mechanisms in place to protect their infrastructure and ensure fair usage for all customers.
Lightsail, like other AWS services, has data transfer limits based on the plan you choose. The free tier or lower-cost plans will have lower data transfer allowances. Once you exceed these limits, you may incur additional charges or experience reduced performance.
It's also worth noting that AWS has policies against using their services for certain activities that may violate their terms of service. While using V2Ray itself is not inherently problematic, how you use it could potentially violate AWS's acceptable use policy.
To ensure you stay within the limits of your chosen Lightsail plan and avoid any unintended throttling or additional charges:
- Monitor your data transfer usage closely.
- Be aware of the specific data transfer limits for your Lightsail plan.
- Understand that if you exceed your plan's limits, you may experience throttling or incur additional charges.
- Ensure your usage complies with AWS's terms of service and acceptable use policy.
If you find that your needs exceed the capabilities of the free or lower-tier plans, consider upgrading to a plan that better suits your requirements.
