Hello.
Does this mean that you cannot successfully activate it using the steps in the document below?
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/bedrock/latest/userguide/model-access.html
By the way, is the reason why the request was canceled displayed somewhere?
Also, just to be sure, I recommend that you open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing" to check if there is a problem with your AWS account.
Inquiries under "Account and billing" can be made free of charge.

Hi,
Do you fail with all possible Anthropic's models? Claude Opus is still restricted but all others are widely accessible even to personal accounts.
So, please, also try with V2 models to see if you have same issue.
Did you check what the page Model Access says? It is accessible via bottom of Bedrock menu.
Best,
Didier
I’ve tried different combinations. It always opens the form that Anthropic wants you to fill out and immediately fails when the Company Website URl validation. It seems like a bug and I’ve opened a ticket but it’s been days with no response.
After working with AWS support it was found in the traces that the format validation for the company URL requires a www prefix. There is no indication of this in the error or an information button to show an example. I recommended to support that they put in sample in the field showing www and/or update the formatting validation logic to remove the www requirement. Seems a bit obvious after the fact but hardly anyone uses www anymore.
Hi NickB,
As we discussed during our Chime call, this issue was due to the format of your URL which needed to include "www." in it. For future reference please refer to the formatting below:

Yes I've followed the docs, not an access issue as I have tried from numerous accounts including an account with root access. It's during the use case details form. Part of that form is for filling in Company Website URL. The validation for this field fails no matter what you put in no matter what access you have.
I'm opening a support request as well but just trying to see if this is a known issue as it's happened to me with our main company account and a personal account I created to test and make sure I wasn't having IAM issues that were hidden behind the questionnaire.
I was able to activate Claude using my personal AWS account, so I didn't think it really mattered whether it was a company-owned AWS account or a personal AWS account. It's probably a problem on your AWS account side, so I think it's best to continue waiting for a response from AWS Support.
