Lambda Layer node runtime upgrade

Amplify version 8.0.1 I am using amplify and since aws has deprecated the node js runtime 14. And since, the lambda layers present in my amplify project is using node runtime 14, I would like to upgrade it to 16. But I haven't found single best method to upgrade. So, if anyone have knowledge about it, please provide me the guidance. Thank you!
