Medialive channels are not able to start

Hey, i have 5 channels on MediaLive in the Frankfurt region that aren't able to start for the last 20 minutes. we are losing content as we speak, tried to delete and recreate the channel but it didn't help

Sorry to hear you were having issues starting MediaLive channels.

This may be a bit late, though you should check your MediaLive Service channel limits for the Frankfurt region. MediaLive Channels default to a soft limit of 5 channels per AWS Region per account. If the number of running channels hits that limit, no other channels can be started. Please check that the total running channels + new channel requests are below the set limit.

From the AWS Console go to Service Quotes, then search for MediaLive. There will be a variety of limit types. Check the Channels limit and Inputs limit corresponding to what Input sources are being used. You can request limit increases from the Service Quota page. If the request is a small increase, it should be approved in a day or two. If limit increase request is an order of magnitude, additional information will be requested.
