AWS Backup and software level backup

Hi,

I have EC2 mail server and AWS backup is used to backup my entire AWS EC2.

Do I still need to use software level backup?

If you have tested restoration and it works for you, then you do not. The true test of a backup is to restore to it and see that it works as you need it to.
