Cost associated with certain CloudWatch dashboards

How can I differentiate cost associated with certain CloudWatch dashboards with some identifier (e.g., Tags). If I have 5 CloudWatch dashboards and I want to know cost associated with 2 specific dashboards.

Part of the free tier you get 3 Custom Dashboards referencing up to 50 metrics each per month. Any dashboards after that are charged at $3.00 per dashboard per month
Additionally, all Automatic Dashboards are free.
Dashboard tagging is unsupported

It is not currently possible to tag CloudWatch Dashboards. In addition, their Resource IDs do not show up in either Cost Explorer or Cost and Usage Reports. Therefore, this is not possible currently.

I know I can tag the metrics in the dashboard. There could be multiple dashboards created in AWS account, however is there a way to track cost associated with certain dashboards only? Looks like, we cannot tag cloudwatch dashboards.
