Step by step tutorial

Question

I'd like to build a highly available WordPress on AWS, including EC2, RDS, EFS, S3, etc. I've found a stack prebuilt by Bitnami that is deployable with CloudFormation. But I wish to build each service myself so I can get a better understanding of my servers.
