how to configure saml2aws for Identity Center

Hi there,
while reading this [guidance](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/wellarchitected/latest/framework/sec_identities_identity_provider.html) i see reference to a tool called saml2aws - is there any guidance from AWS as to how to configure saml2aws to work with identity center ? ( i was. not able to find anything anywhere )

saml2aws is used to retrieve temp credentials.

The feature is available within IAM Identity Center, you do not need to use saml2aws.

A bit of context saml2aws was launched of 2016, based on this [post](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/how-to-implement-a-general-solution-for-federated-apicli-access-using-saml-2-0/) of 2015,  AWS Single sign-On (SSO) was [https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2017/12/announcing-aws-single-sign-on--sso/](launch) on Dec 2017, which was [https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2022/07/aws-single-sign-on-aws-sso-now-aws-iam-identity-center/](renamed) on July 2022 as IAM Identy Center , if you need to work with aws cli for saml authenticatication best path is what was shared by Mike [here](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/aws-single-sign-on-now-enables-command-line-interface-access-for-aws-accounts-using-corporate-credentials/).
