Fargate profile all subnets disabled

I'm trying to set up an EKS cluster and have successfully created one.
But I couldn't set up a Fargate profile to be used by it. In the corresponding form, a drop-down field named Subnets lists all my subnets; but none is selectable/enabled.
I've tried to create a new subnet, but no luck. What I've missed?

Hi,

according to this,https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/fargate-troubleshoot-profile-creation I assume you are trying to associate private subnets, as they are the only one supported.

Was profile associated with VPC?

    Sorry for my late response. I'm totally new to AWS and I've tried to create private subnets (and/or another vpc with private subnets) but no luck. I searched a bit and created a separate vpc with private subnets but they don't appear in Fargate profile configuration form at all.
