lambda versioning with Cloudfromation

Question

Pls how do i maintain a lambda version with cloudformation and using as specific version in my api gateway using Cloudformation
PLEASE would realy appreciate with a sample code

Lambda v1 (Currently deployed to my API Gateway Production Environment)
Lambda v2 (Want to deploy the v2 to my test environment)

and how do i manage this in cloudformation
