It's probably your EBS volume, but you can check easily in Cost Explorer by choosing "Usage type" for the "group by" dimension. Usage type breaks down the EC2-Other service into its individual components.
The EBS volume is your server's hard drive. You probably need its contents to be preserved while it's not running. AWS will keep charging you for the volume for as long as it exists.
In theory, you could set up EC2 Auto Scaling (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/autoscaling/ec2/userguide/what-is-amazon-ec2-auto-scaling.html) to launch a completely new server on a schedule or on demand when you need it, but it would be an empty server launched from a hard drive image (AMI, Amazon Machine Image) every time, so you would have to store your data, programs, configuration, and everything else someplace else, such as in an S3 bucket (which would also cost some money), and download and install it automatically when the new server is created from the static image every day. This is probably more trouble than you're looking to go to, but it is possible.
