Hi there.
I apologize for the time it's taken for our Support team to review your case. I've raised it internally for further review.
Kindly allow some time for this process, and you'll receive correspondence once it's complete. Please monitor your mailbox for an update.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I understand your frustration with the delay in processing your SES Production Access request. This situation is not uncommon, and several users have reported similar experiences with SES production access requests.
Processing times for SES Production Access requests can vary significantly, and while some requests might be processed quickly (like your port 25 restriction removal), others can take longer. It's not unusual for it to take several days or even longer in some cases.
The AWS SES team typically needs time to review the details provided in your request and determine the next steps. They may be processing your request even if you haven't received a direct response yet.
While waiting, I recommend:
-
Keep monitoring both your support case and your email inbox for any updates or requests for additional information.
-
Check if there are any "More information needed" notifications in your case that might require your response.
-
If a significant amount of time has passed (which in your case it has been 72 hours), you might consider following up on your case. You could try using the chat option in AWS Support to inquire about the status of your request.
-
Ensure that you've chosen an appropriate severity level for your case, as response times can vary based on the selected severity.
While the wait can be frustrating, especially when it impacts your business operations, AWS is generally diligent in processing these requests, but the timeline can vary based on various factors. If the delay becomes excessive, you may want to consider escalating your case through AWS Support channels.

SES: Production Access | AWS re:Post
I had exactly the same problem. I spent a lot of time trying to get approval, all in vain. I started using Resend, but later I found out on the forums about accounts with production access enabled in SES in several regions. People using them for marketing, without worrying about a large number of bounces or complaints. All those accounts have approval in several region and I'm unable to get even one for my website sending process. And every time I send additional information about my case, I get the same answers, like just copy-paste from support, no detailed information on how to get approved.

Yeah, we are also moved to a third-party solution, after having no update even after 8 days.

Thank you for the favour. But I have not heard back from the SES team yet :(.
