Can't Launch Zoom on EC2 Instance

Hi there,

I'm trying to setup an AWS Instance to record a Zoom Meeting. So to do this I setup a t2.xlarge instance with Windows Server 2022 Base and then installed the 64 bit version of Zoom from the Zoom website.

The installation was successful but the issue is that if I try and open Zoom.exe, nothing happens.

Would anyone have any suggestions regarding why Zoom wouldn't work? I installed OBS as another application and that seemed to work fine.

Hello.

Have you checked the Windows event log or zoom log?
If you check the logs, there may be something recorded that will help identify the cause.

Hi

I tried checking the event log but I couldn't actually see anything relating to trying to launch Zoom.

Have checked but don't seem to getting any logs from Windows or Zoom.

I do get quite a lot of logs and errors when I'm installing the application which I have put below. Is that unusual?

I searched for the error message, but it seems that zoom may not have been installed correctly.
