AWS Workspaces iPad app, Error registration failed, please try again

Hi AWS Community

Has any one have this error trying to run AWS WorkSpaces from iPad client "Error. Registration failed, please try again". AWS Workspaces error

Some elements already taken care:

  • The registration code (hidden in red box for security) is correct
  • iPad network connectivity is green (see screenshot)
  • iPad network has no VPN associated
  • Workspace is online, using PCoIP
  • The directory is allowing iOS connection
  • Tried to uninstall/re-install AWS Workspaces on the iPad
  • Tried on another iPad and connected to another internet connection

Workspaces are in ap-southeast-2 region; works fine if I run the Workspaces App natively in OSX.

Folks, managed to fix the access from iPad

Under Workspaces, select the Directory, then Authentication, select SAML 2.0 Identity Provider

Enable Allow clients that do not support SAML 2.0 to login

Seems to be AWS Workspaces iPad native app (used last version at the time of this comment) doesn’t support SAML 2.0 login where it will open a browser page

Is the client set up on the same region where the Workspaces is deployed ?
