Can't save to S3 Bucket

0

I'm trying to listen to a long text with Amazon Polly, and I'm instructed to save to an S3 bucket for longer texts. But the task fails, and I get this message: Task status reason Error occurred while trying to upload file to S3. Please verify that the bucket exists in this region and you have permission to write objects to the specified bucket.

I dont know much about all of the above, just have been using the service to hear shorter texts read aloud. I tried to read answers to similar questions on this forum and it's way over my head. Is there a simple solution to this?

what's the recommended workflow?

Best,

Hello.

Do you have the IAM policy mentioned in the document below attached to your IAM user?

  • First, open the IAM user screen from the URL below. https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home#/home
When it opens, you will see "User" in the menu on the left, so click on it. A list of IAM users will then be displayed. When displayed, click on the IAM user you are using. You can check the set policy by opening it.

hello and thanks. I did what you suggests, and when i add a user it send me to the identity center. then I added it there and verified, etc. but when i go back to your link there are no users listed. i have to go to the identity center to see it, but then dont see options for policies. it's all very confusing. thanks for the help.

I did something and was able to add a user, then searched for the 2 polly permissions and added them, but then bucket failed again w/ same error.
