UPSTREAM_NOT_FOUND: Cannot connect to lightsail instance

Hello

I am unable to connect to my Lightsail instance that I was setting up. The Amazon browser times out(UPSTREAM_NOT_FOUND) and when I try to ssh through my own console it returns

ssh -v ME@ XXXXX
OpenSSH_8.1p1, LibreSSL 2.7.3

Status checks for instance return 1 as well. I have port 22 opened and have created a new instance from a snapshot but had no success. I followed this form https://forums.aws.amazon.com/message.jspa?messageID=918394#918394
