Can AWS Backup perform cross-region copies using AWS managed keys?

I read that AWS Backup cannot copy backups across account using AWS managed keys. However, can AWS Backup copy backups across regions (within a single account) using AWS managed keys?

Hello.

I think it is possible to copy using an AWS management key if it is cross-region within the same AWS account.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/aws-backup/latest/devguide/encryption.html#encryption-cross-region-copies

When you use AWS Backup to copy your backups across accounts or Regions, AWS Backup automatically encrypts those copies, even if the original backup is unencrypted. AWS Backup encrypts your copy using the target vault's KMS key.
