CodeCatalyst Unable to remove association to a Billing in Deleted Space

Hello, I created a space using AWSBuilder EmailAdd#1 and associate it with my AWS account. When I was trying to associate AWSBuilder EmailAdd#2 to the same AWS account, I deleted my AWSBuilder EmailAdd#1 account thinking it will automatically be unlinked so I can set up a new one. Upon doing so, I am still unable to link my EmailAdd#2 to my AWS since it still sees the association to EmailAdd#1. There is no way for me to remove the Billing in EmailAdd#1 since I cannot log in to AWSBuilder anymore using EmailAdd#1. Hope you can help on what should be my next steps. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for reaching out. Just to clarify, are you trying to delete a billing account from a space that you are not part of anymore? I have forwarded this to our engineering team. I will get back to you as soon as i have a response.

  • Hello, my AWS Billing Account is still active however the space/AWSBuilderID associated with it is no longer accessible. I was trying to associate a new AWSBuilderID to my AWS Billing Account but it was not successful.

    Error: The following AWS account is already used as a billing account for another CodeCatalyst space: xxxxxxxxxxxx. Choose a different AWS account and try again.

    There is no way for me to access the old AWSBuilderID anymore since it was deleted already.
