Hi
This can be due to a number of things; I would recommend you try the following
- Restart the instance and try to RDP
- Check if the Security group, and network access control list allow inbound from RDP port 3389 -> https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/WindowsGuide/authorizing-access-to-an-instance.html
- Check the routing table and see if there is an entry for the internet gateway -> https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/VPC_Internet_Gateway.html
- If everything fails try logging into the system via Session Manager and try restarting RDP -> https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/WindowsGuide/connecting_to_windows_instance.html#session-manager
