Unable to upgrade from Aurora MySQL 2

0

Hello

I would like to upgrade my RDS cluster running Aurora MySQL 2 (compatible with MySQL 5.7.2.11.4) per the email I have received. However, when I begin the upgrade procedure using the RDS console, the Engine Version list contains only my current version. There are no other versions listed and so I cannot select a target version for the upgrade.

I'd like to know how I can enable this upgrdes, or what I may be doing to prevent the availability of target upgrade versions.

Thanks

Hello.

Is this an Aurora Serverless v1 by any chance? If yes, it only supports 2.11.4 and cannot be upgraded further. It's recommended to migrate to Aurora Serverless v2 to continue receiving newer database engine versions.
