Is it possible to clone an email domain into another region?

I started using Amazon SES a long time ago when it was only available in us-east-1. My servers are in Europe, so all my mails are unnecessarily routed via USA. I'd prefer to move it into a EU region, but it looks like I can only add it there as a new identity which starts from scratch in terms of reputation / sandboxing etc..

Is there a way to clone my domain into another region, automatically carrying over the reputation and sending status of the original identity?

Hello,

You can Copy Amazon SES email and domain identities from one AWS Region to another using an AWS SDK:

Hello,

SES regions are mutually exclusive and cloning the resources/metrics of one region to another region is not possible.
You will have to follow the set up of the new region from scratch to use it for sending.
