EC2 Windows 2012 R2, Freeze due to timeout on disk

0

Hello,

My Windows 2012 R2 Server worked well for 4 years. Since 2 days ago it started freezing few times a day. In the event log I see:

  • Event 129 (timeout) on \Device\RaidPort0
  • Event 153 (timeout): "The IO operation at logical block address ... for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\0000002c) was retried."

No change was made in hardware or configuration. The IO activity on the disk is as usual, not increased. It's in the Ireland datacenter.

What can be the problem and how can I trace it? Could it be a problem in the AWS infrastructure (physical disk or network)?

Thanks
