AWS-SDK configuration error In Angular application running on EC2 with instance profile role

We have an angular application running on an EC2 instance with an instance profile role attached.

  • Ideally configuring aws-sdk secret and access key is not required. Because of instance profile role.
  • But AWS-SDK configure is failing, and showing the error: "Missing credentials in the config, if using AWS_CONFIG_FILE, set AWS_SDK_LOAD_CONFIG=1"
  • Note: We cannot use API Gateway in the project that is the reason we have aws-sdk installed in the angular app itself.

You still need to add an IAM role and add attach the required policies to enable your app communication with SDK.
