Elastic Transcoder Job stuck in "Progressing" state

0

Hello,

I have an elastic transcoder job which stuck in the Progressing state for 1.5 hours now and I can't cancel, nor do anything with it and based on the pricing, I think this keeps billing us for every minute of doing nothing :( I tried to cancel it but obviously it doesn't work because it's not in Submitted state.

$ aws elastictranscoder cancel-job --id 1643628415554-$jid

An error occurred (ResourceInUseException) when calling the CancelJob operation: The job was already in use: accountId=<redacted>, resourceId=1643628415554-$jid.

The read-job doesn't tell much more than "Status": "Progressing" :/ How could I terminate the job?

Job timing on the details page

After 5 hours "transcoding time", the state changed to "error" with output status details:

9999: Amazon Elastic Transcoder encountered an internal failure.

Billing is probably not affected, based on the pricing page:

Amazon Elastic Transcoder does not charge for failed transcodes unless the number of failures becomes excessive.
