"Error when Authenticating" and Request ID when signing into Quicksight

Every time I sign into quicksight I get a blank page with "error when authenticating" along with a request ID. Happens on VPN and not.

  • None of these have helped. I was given access for it according to my manager and they aren't seeing issues on their end. I can't access AWS console due to not being in Quicksight as well. I've cleared browsing history and tried other browsers as well with no luck

  • Ok. Did you exactly follow https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/managing-user-access-qs-iam.html ? I did it for my own QS dashboards and it went fine.

  • I will pass that on to my manager to help with that route. My issue is, is that none of my leadership are in my building this late to help me with this and I can't go any farther than the sign in page lol. Hopefully that helps.
