Workspaces Client Battery Usage High

Over the past 3 months, I have noticed a significant increase in my laptop battery usage that Windows attributes to Workspaces. I'm using a Dell XPS13 Windows 11 Home 16GB Ram with Workspaces client 5.16.0.4366. Normal battery life was 9 hours with earlier versions of Workspaces, this has decreased to 2 hours. The device has a touchscreen OLED running at 3456x2160 HDR mode. Is this a known issue for Workspaces at present and are there any recommendations for configuration that will extend battery life considerably?
