Displaying flight routes on Maps in Quicksight

0

Given specific geospatial points for a route (e.g. a flight route), can we show the route on a map through Quicksight? (similar to what can be done in plotly: https://medium.com/technology-hits/working-with-maps-in-python-with-mapbox-and-plotly-6f454522ccdd)

Hello,

Sharing an option that's possible in AWS: Quicksight has capabilities to plot such data on an interactive graph:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/filled-maps.html https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/geospatial-charts.html https://towardsdatascience.com/awesome-aws-quicksight-visuals-every-data-analyst-should-know-e4e9302b2711 (scroll to points on map)

However, QuickSight does not fully support custom visuals(if you try to achieve it) but does have limited support via this method: -

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/custom-visual-content.html?icmpid=docs_quicksight_console_rssdochistory

You can pass a parameter but it would not be fully integrated as a visual.

Thank you !
