Elastic IP addresses could not be released.

Hi, I'm trying to release an unassociated elastic IP but I get the error:

The address with allocation id [....] cannot be released because it is locked to your account. Please contact AWS Support.

I can't contact support because you have to pay.

The other posts seems confusing, I just want it removed so I don't have to keep paying for it.

Hello.

What was that Elastic IP address used for?
If you have rDNS configured, please reset the settings using the steps in the document below and then try deleting the Elastic IP address.

If you still cannot delete it, we recommend that you open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing".
Inquiries under "Account and billing" can be made free of charge.
