Future migration of CodeCommit

0

As described below, AWS CodeCommit was closed to new customer.

AWS DevOps Blog

Our company has already been using AWS CodeCommit repository and has no problem so far.

But if our system will be migrated to a new AWS account in the future, can't we use AWS CodeCommit service anymore on the new account?

Hello.

Yes, as you are aware, if you are using a new AWS account and have never created a CodeCommit in the past, you will not be able to create a new CodeCommit repository.
When I try to create it, the following error occurs.

CreateRepository request is not allowed because there is no existing repository in this AWS account or AWS Organization
