Elasticbeanstalk not start ambient with VPC and private subnet

We're having trouble creating our beanstalk environments by selecting a VPC and private subnets that already have a NAT Gateway. It stops at the integrity check of the instances and does not finalize the environment. Can you help us?

    I created the NAT Gateway and linked to a private subnet, when I should have linked to a public one. The environment env went up without any problem. Thanks!
