You can find some latency related metrics mentioned here - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/opensearch-service/latest/developerguide/managedomains-cloudwatchmetrics.html#managedomains-cloudwatchmetrics-instance-metrics noteably Indexing Latency, Search Latency, Search rate and Indexing rate.
Anything specific that you are looking for when you mention "general latency metrics of elastic search" ? The above metrics would be related to the type of data ingested and queries for and would be among the go-to metrics to understand overall latency behaviour

This document have metric names (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/opensearch-service/latest/developerguide/managedomains-cloudwatchmetrics.html#managedomains-cloudwatchmetrics-instance-metrics ). But, I am looking for comparison between postgresql and es search latencies (In general). Currently, I have the postgresql metrics and looking for es search latencies.
In this page we have those metrics explained: https://www.2ndquadrant.com/en/blog/postgresql-latency-pipelining-batching/#:~:text=Latency%20matters&text=A%20trivial%20SELECT%20can%20take,set%2C%20query%20metadata%2C%20etc.
Same details I am trying to get.
