When will Application Signals become generally available?

I found that the application signals demo had pull request related to GA changes. https://github.com/aws-observability/application-signals-demo/pull/34

Does this mean that it is going to be out of preview soon?

Also I cannot download the preview SDKs because of "access forbidden", so there is no way to configure then programmatically.
