Selectively cancel AWS services

Hello.

Which AWS service are you using specifically?
If you're using services like EC2 or RDS, you can restore instances later if you have snapshots, even after deleting the instances.

You should start by running AWS Config inventory to see all what you use: https://aws.amazon.com/config/

When you have the full inventory in hands, you can start to selectively cancel the services and datastores that you don't need anymore

Re backups, if you have backups of your EBS drives or EC2 intances, you can cancel the drives or the instances: your corresponding backups will remain available if you need some day to reactivate the drive or the instance. (You will be charged for the storage of those archives)
