In Ohio region, after I increased the volume size and restarted my EC2 instance, I encountered the following error message: "Failed to start the instance i-xxxx This account is currently blocked and not recognized as a valid account. Please contact aws-verification@amazon.com if you have questions." I sent an email describing the situation to aws-verification@amazon.com a few days ago, but haven't received a response yet. Please tell me how to resolve this issue.

This can happen for various reasons, such as a security concern or violation of the AWS terms of service.

Since you have already contacted AWS support at aws-verification@amazon.com, the next best step is to wait for their response. They will review your case and provide you with instructions on how to proceed.

In the meantime, you can check if there are any outstanding payments or account issues that may have caused the block. If there are, resolve them as soon as possible to ensure your account is in good standing.

If you don't hear back from AWS support after a few days, you can try reaching out to them again through the AWS Support Center. They will be able to provide you with more specific information on why your account has been blocked and what steps you can take to resolve the issue.
