Won't boot after factory restore

0

I followed the "Restoring Your AWS DeepLens Device to Factory Settings" guide. However, upon reboot after flashing I get the errors below:

mount: mounting /run on /root/run failed: No such file or directory
Target filesystem doesn't have requested /sbin/init
run-init: opening console: No such file or directory
No init found. Try passing init= bootarg.
Rebooting automatically doe to panic= boot argument

The DeepLens then just goes into an endless reboot cycle. I made the USB again and reflashed but got the same result.

I watched the console output of the usb_flash.sh script and didn't see any errors. It appeared to complete successfully.

Thanks for any pointers.

I am facing similar problem and I tried executing the steps on Windows. It didn't work for me. I'm still facing the same problem.

I retried the factory restore steps to make the USB but this time I did the steps on Windows instead of Ubuntu. For whatever reason this time the factory restore was successful and I was able to register the device.
